For our client in Zurich we are looking for an HR Lead for a 9 months contract.
CONTEXT:
Business Solutions (TBS) is a newly formed function with the objective of enabling business strategy, delivering simplification and cost reduction, improving service and providing a transformation engine for continuous improvement. ‘Building and Delivering Simplified and Innovative Solutions’ is our overarching vision with Patients at the center of all that we do.
OBJECTIVES:
This role has been created to support the ongoing transformation of the TBS organization proving end to end HR support for one or two global change initiatives.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
HR lead responsible for the preparation and delivery of a global restructuring programme, interfacing with local country HR teams, global COEI’s and the global TBS team.
Work with business leaders to define future operating model and organisation design, advising on people implications/considerations and how they influence approach, timing, implementation, communications etc.
Support the organisation design including but not limited to, role definition, global location strategy, future capabilities required, realignment of work into new Global TBS operating model and reduction of workforce in line with transition of work to other countries.
Responsible for any EWC consultation in collaboration with the EUCAN HR team, legal and the TBS Programme Delivery team.
Work collaboratively with the global HR team, internal and external legal counsel and local HR teams to create and execute the HR plan and ER strategy for the change.
Work with local HR to support transitions of processes, supporting both sending and receiving HR teams.
Responsible for the end to end project management from an HR lens including managing project plan and full aspects of project including dependencies, risks, issues, redundancy costs etc.
Required to review and create an array of communication materials including, consultation materials, manager briefing packs, employee Q&A’s
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Candidates must have an HR background/experience, having previously managed HR projects associated with redundancies/restructuring.
Advantageous to have good up-to-date European employment law knowledge or basic understanding with specific focus around structural change/redundancy.
Structured/self-organised.
Demonstrate personal accountability and follow through.
Collaborative team player essential, as an integral member of the HR team.
Attention to detail, high level of accuracy in handling HR information.
Supportive people style, with calm confidence.
Managing situations to a fair conclusion.
Strong credibility and ability to influence at a senior level with strong
stakeholder management skills
Pragmatic and able to work under pressure and a changing environment
You are a good communicator and fluent in English, both in writing and speaking.
Preferable experience of GBS or Shared service functions
Business understanding / commercial mindset required, not afraid to challenge
Experience in working for similar large-scale global organizations in a dynamic environment
Experience of managing relationships and deliverables across functions in a complex organization
Ability to deal with senior executives across the group
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Flexibility in working hours sought due to global demands of the programme e.g. early morning calls with Japan and evening calls with US.
